Kindli Movers was founded on a simple truth: moving is never just physical. Whether you're downsizing after a lifetime in one home, supporting an aging parent through a transition, or navigating a loved one's hoarding disorder — the emotional and mental weight can be just as heavy as any box.
As a Registered Nurse, our founder Kathleen Reyes saw firsthand how the healthcare system left millions behind — especially those struggling with hoarding disorder. She built Kindli to fill that gap: a company that combines the compassion of caregiving with the practicality of professional moving services.
We partner with certified mental health professionals, social workers, and healthcare teams to ensure you never have to navigate this alone.
"The clutter is a symptom. The person is the patient. When we center dignity in every interaction, real healing becomes possible. Kindli was built to prove that moving — in every sense of the word — can be an act of love."
We approach every client with warmth and patience. Judgment has no place in our process. We lead with empathy, always.
No forced cleanouts. No shaming. We honor the relationship people have with their belongings and move only at the client's pace.
We're not here for a one-time transaction. Recovery is a journey and we walk alongside you for as long as it takes.
Our methods are grounded in the latest clinical research — from specialized CBT to integrated care models backed by data.
Healing happens in relationship. Our peer support networks and family education programs build the village around each person.
We track outcomes, publish results, and continuously improve. Our clients deserve to know what works — and so does the field.

Community-based · Stigma-freeUsing validated clinical tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7, ASRS), we screen for depression, anxiety, ADHD, and OCD at intake. Results directly inform your individualized care plan — administered with care, not as a checklist.
Licensed clinicians · Whole-person viewBehavioral change is impossible without basic safety. We assess in-home fire hazards, fall risks, and utility access — then provide practical support to restore kitchen, bathroom, and exit functionality. Trust comes before transformation.
No forced cleanouts · Safety firstStandard CBT doesn't work for hoarding disorder. Our tailored approach covers decision-making, emotional attachment, gradual discarding, and relapse prevention — delivered individually, in groups, via peer support, or virtually.
Evidence-based · Multiple modalitiesRecovery is chronic. Personalized maintenance plans with check-ins at 30, 60, 90, and 180 days post-treatment. Peer mentorship pairings. Clear re-entry protocols so no one falls through the cracks.
Long-term support · Community anchoredThere's no wrong time to reach out. Whether you're ready to start, still exploring, or reaching out on behalf of a loved one — this conversation is just that: a conversation. No commitment required.
Tell us a little about your situation — we'll follow up with care.
